Murderer (Alleged)

The Resume

    (September 11, 1865-March 24, 1919)
    Born in Klodawa, Poland
Birth name was Aron Mordke Kozminski
    Barber and hairdresser
Resided in the Whitechapel district of London
Primary suspect in the Jack the Ripper case (1888-91)
Committed to the Leavesden Asylum in 1891, where he died

Why he might be annoying:

He was institutionalised after he threatened a woman with a knife.
Many believe he is the true identity of Jack the Ripper, a serial killer who brutally murdered - at the very least - five women.
There is little proof that he was the same 'Kosminski' in the official police report naming potential Ripper suspects.
Scientists claimed to have proved his guilt by using DNA evidence from a shawl believed to have been left by murder victim Catherine Eddowes (2014).

Why he might not be annoying:

His family emigrated from Russian-controlled Poland to Germany, and later London, to escape anti-Jewish pogroms.
Historians cast doubt on the DNA forensic evidence - pointing out that the shawl in question doesn't appear on the official list of Eddowes' personal effects.
Throughout the entire period of his confinement, he was never classified as homicidal or a danger to others.
Today, he likely would have been diagnosed with bipolar depression (he was a self mutilator).
Even if he's the killer, Ripperologists will never concede it (more alluring to keep the mystery going, not to mention good for tourism).
