Monarch

The Resume

    (November 4, 1470-circa 1483)
Born in London, England, United Kingdom
    King of England (April 9-June 25, 1483)
Deposed by his uncle, King Richard III
Imprisoned with his brother in the Tower of London
Last seen in the summer of 1483

Why he might be annoying:

    He was never crowned.
Parliament ruled his parents' marriage was invalid and declared him a bastard.
The details of when and how he died are a mystery.
Partisans of Richard III and Henry VII still debate which king was responsible for his death.

Why he might not be annoying:

His uncle Richard was supposed to be his guardian, but at a minimum stole his throne and probably had him murdered.
Henry VII had the act of Parliament declaring him illegitimate nullified.
The mystery of his fate inspired Josephine Tey's detective classic 'The Daughter of Time.'
