They really were just a more bizarre version of Duran Duran under a new name.
Nick Rhodes used this as an excuse to wear even more makeup than usual.
Roger Taylor refused to appear in their music videos or photos.
They never toured.
Duran Duran has never performed any of their Arcadia songs live.
They were a two-hit wonder.
Why they might not be annoying
When accused of forming Arcadia to compete with The Power Station, Simon LeBon said that 'Arcadia wasn't an answer to Power Station, it was our answer to boredom.'
Arcadia only released one album, 'So Red the Rose,' but it sold really well.
They never toured, despite their brief popularity.
Many fans of Duran Duran still prefer the image of Arcadia.
It didn't take long before the three became Duran Duran again.
Many critics who found Duran Duran musically worthless enjoyed Arcadia.
Their music videos were very creative.
Simon LeBon and Nick Rhodes remain fan favorites.
Their album is still regarded as classic.
