Why she might be annoying:

She probably never existed.
The year of her death has been given anywhere from 238 to 640.
Most people are smart enough to leave cities being besieged by Huns off their travel itinerary.
Some scholars have suggested that the story was based on a tale of eleven virgin martyrs (or maybe an eleven-year-old martyr) in which 'undecimilia' (Latin for 11) was misread as 'undicimila' (11,000).
Like several other saints whose existence is doubtful, she was dropped from the Catholic calendar of saints (1969).

Why she might not be annoying:

HIldegard of Bingen composed several chants in her honor.
The first order of teaching nuns, the Ursulines, were named after her.
Christopher Columbus named the Virgin Islands after her and her 11,000 handmaidens, and she appears on the coat of arms of the British Virgin Islands.
