    A Scottish soul group?
With outings such as 1979's ‘Feel No Fret' and 1980's ‘Shine' failing to catch on, they broke up (for the first time) in 1982.
Upon reforming seven years later, only Gorrie, McIntyre, and Ball remained from that lineup.
They resembled the Happy Days cast in their heyday.
The group logo, dating all the way back to the start, depicts the W in its abbreviation as a woman's butt.
They started out as the opening act at Eric Clapton's Rainbow Theater comeback gig.
There are road diary entries on their website dating back to the end of 1998.
Some journalists credit them with shattering the stereotype of the prudish and soulless Scots (as if that ever were true).
Their most successful single (‘Pick Up the Pieces') was an instrumental.
They were among the earliest pioneers of the blue-eyed soul movement.
