Why Q-Link might be annoying:

    It was used only on the Commodore 64/128 Computer.
    Maximum speed was 1200 baud.
    Primarily used for games and chat.
    It was originated by AOL - America Online and eventually was phased into AOL - America Online.
    It never gave access to the Internet, but rather a multi user bulletin board.

Why Q-Link might not be annoying:

    A simulation of Q-Link is set up on www.quantum-link.org (September 2005).
    Users were permitted to download games.
    They sent users a monthly magazine called 'Update.'
    It scheduled events such as games and forums.
    It had a then expansive library of free and public domain software for downloading.
    It had special areas for educators and those interested in learning.
