Why she might be annoying:

Like many other young girls, and perhaps a few boys, having a horse was one of her crazy dreams.
Just before the launch of the Pony toy line, she defected to Parker Brothers.
She never imagined that the Pony brand would go on to be embraced by multiple demographics (including Bronies).

Why she might not be annoying:

Having interned there through much of the 1970s, Hasbro was no stranger to her work.
She planned for the original Pony brand to appeal to both school-age genders.
She and a friend would turn a renovated barn into a freelance studio centered around their craft.
