Doctor
    (June 28, 1914-circa August 10, 1992)
    Born in Bad Radkersburg, Austria
    Volunteered for the Waffen-SS (1940)
Doctor at Mathausen concentration camp (1940-42)
    Known as 'Dr. Death'
Allegedly died in Cairo at age 78 while living under the name Tarek Farid Hussein
Death reported by his son Rudiger in 2009
He killed hundreds of people in gruesome 'medical' experiments.
He operated without anesthesia, removed organs from healthy inmates then left to die on the operating table, and injected substances directly into the hearts of Jewish prisoners and timed how long it took for them to die.
He preserved the skull of one of his victims as a paperweight.
He was arrested by the Americans after WWII, but let go because his file did not include his time at Mathausen.
After working as a gynecologist in Germany for years, he got a tip that the police were planning to arrest him and fled the country (1962).
His son reported his death a conveniently short time after the Simon Weisenthal Center declared him their most wanted Nazi and increased the award for information about him to $445,000.
German police investigated but were unable to find his grave or a body.
He was an excellent hockey player.
While living in Cairo, he bought candy for the local children, who called him 'Uncle Tarek.'
