Gaming Console
    (1982-1984)
    Library of over 170 aames

    AKA DINA or Personal Arcade
Over 50 games it advertised in magazines and boxes were never released.
Most of its games force you to wait exactly 12 seconds before playing them.
Eventually Coleco abandoned the system to produce a personal computer that proved to be a failure. Only the Cabbage Patch dolls (which they owned) bailed them out.
Their strategy was to port arcade games that Atari hadn't gotten to and develop games for all three major systems.
It was the first system to release 'Donkey Kong' (their 'Space Invader' in terms of sales).
Over six million ColecoVisions were sold.
It won support from most gaming magazines.
Emulations of the most popular games, while technically illegal copyright infringements, are not challenged by the developers.
It is very popular among vintage gamers.
