Quarterbacks coach for the Indianapolis Colts (2009-10) and the San Diego Chargers (2013)
Wide receivers coach for the Indianapolis Colts (2011) and the Arizona Cardinals (2012)
Offensive coordinator for the San Diego Chargers (2014-15) and the Philadelphia Eagles (2016-17)
Head coach for the Indianapolis Colts (2018-22) and the Carolina Panthers (2023)

Why he might be annoying:

He spent his entire playing career as a backup quarterback.
He is devoutly religious and isn't afraid of showing it.
He wasn't the Colts first choice for the head coaching job.
He only landed the job after Josh McDaniels backed out days after agreeing to accepting the job offer.
Due to his penchant of coming into some of football's memorable comebacks, he earned the nickname 'The Custodian.'
He was replaced midway through the 2022 season by Jeff Saturday as the Colts head coach, despite the fact the latter had no previous NFL coaching experience.
He was fired by the Panthers after posting a 1-10 record (November 27, 2023).

Why he might not be annoying:

He rallied the University of Maryland to a comeback victory over the University of Miami (1984)
He guided the Bills to a comeback playoff victory over the Houston Oilers (1993).
Outside of the comeback victories, he was a member of all four of the Bills AFC championship teams (1990-93) and the Panthers inaugural team (1995).
He earned a Super Bowl ring as a member of the Eagles coaching staff (2017).
He guided the Colts to a playoff berth, despite starting the season with a 1-5 record in his first season as head coach (2018).
