The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He was distraught enough by this trade, that he opted not to report to the Ti-Cats and move to the NFL instead.
His Alouettes teams nosedived in the standings in the years following their 1970 Grey Cup victory.
He was fired by the Concordes after a season and a half, which sealed the fate of the franchise a few years later.
He was part of an ownership group that attempted to bring an NFL franchise to Montreal, following the demise of the city's CFL franchises.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was considered one of the CFL's clutch quarterbacks during the 1950's.
Prior to Anthony Calvillo, he held the majority of the Alouettes passing records.
He holds a Grey Cup record for most passing yards in a single game.
He was considered a sports icon in Montreal, which was a rare feat at the time for someone who didn't play for the Canadiens.
