    Foreign tourists complain about blatant price gouging.
    They banned the Murray Head song 'One Night in Bangkok.'
    Like Los Angeles, its name means 'city of angels.'
    It was nicknamed 'the Venice of the East' for its extensive network of canals.
    The city has many green zones.
