Why he might be annoying:

    He was a career backup.
    He was the first of many quarterbacks to start a game for the Dolphins following the retirement of Dan Marino.
    His contributions to the Patriots first two Super Bowl championship teams were by mimicking Peyton Manning's audible calls to the defense in practice, prior to the team's matchups against the Colts.
    He struggled with injuries during his tenure with the Chiefs.
    His tenure with the Chiefs ended abruptly after the team hired Scott Pioli as general manager, who promptly released him in order to acquire Matt Cassel.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He won a national championship as a member of the University of Washington football team (1991).
    He served as a backup to both Dan Marino and Tom Brady during his career.
    He left the University of Washington as the school's all-time leader in career passing yards.
    He and Brock were the first set of brothers in NFL history to start a game on the same day, albeit not in the same game.
    He returned to his alma mater, following the end of his playing career to serve as the school's director of community relations.
