Why he might be annoying:

    He has an enormously thick mustache.
    Despite spending the majority of his life in Canada, some hockey pundits classify him as being a European as a result of his France birth.
    He was traded to the Jets after one game with the Blues (1981).
    He had six season where he recorded 100+ penalty minutes.
    While playing in Hull, he was initially supposed to be traded, but the deal was called off after he recorded a five goal game (1978).

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was born to Canadian parents who were stationed at R.C.A.F. Grostenquin.
    Despite being a Canadian, he is the highest scoring NHL player to be born in France.
    He recorded a career-high 101 points (1984-85).
    He was a successful minor league coach, prior to his appointment as an assistant coach under Mike Babcock.
    After serving as an assistant coach for nine seasons, he got a chance to be a head coach at the NHL level when he was named the Sens head coach.
