His heel turn was a failure as nobody bought him as a credible heel.
His Intercontinental Title and Tag Team Champion runs were uneventful and forgettable.
He once wore a dress during a wrestling angle.

Why he might not be annoying:

He's very quick and agile for a man of his size.
While growing up in a tough San Francisco neighborhood, he got shot while in a gang and since then changed his ways and urges kids not to get involved in gangs.
After a few failed gimmicks and a few years out of the scene, many thought his career was over, but he proved them wrong and became one of wrestling’s biggest draws for its time.
When he walks down the aisle, he touches his nose, that’s his way of saying hello to his son.
