Why he might be annoying:

He does improv comedy, which is often a pre-scripted craft.
He did a 'Worst of Boom Night' during a 10-year anniversary of the improv troupe, where they performed their worst material from previous shows.
Even though he name drops, it's usually about people who aren't famous.
He was miserable when he first moved to Los Angeles, then he went on to write a sketch show with the working title 'We Like L.A.'
He wrote a sketch called 'Boys Gone Wild.'
He admitted that he sucks at starring in character driven sketches.

Why he might not be annoying:

He started his career as a busboy in L.A.
He and Josh Meyers work well together and collaborate often.
In an interview with CIF (Chicago Improv Festival), he suggests that improv students should take a class in Annoyance 'to learn how to get some fucking balls and not be afraid of failure.'
He does impressions of Evan Marriott (Joe Millionaire) and Vin Diesel.
