    Best known for 'Patrick Kielty Almost Live,' 'Live at the Apollo,' and 'This Morning Summer'
    While presenting a live episode of Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, he referred to a contestant as a 'big gayer.'
    He made a joke about the disappearance of Madeline McCann.
    He accidentally revealed model Christine Bleakley's phone number whilst appearing as a guest on 'The One Show.'
    He was the host of the unaired pilot episode of the American version of 'Deal or No Deal' when the show was being pitched to ABC.
    However, the show was rejected by ABC, and the host was replaced by Howie Mandel when the show aired on NBC.
    His father was shot dead by a Ulster Freedom Fighters (UFF) insurgent in 1988.
    He has been involved with numerous charities such as Children in Need and Comic Relief.
    He is good friends with legendary 'Doctor Who' actors David Tennant and Peter Davison.
    He married Cat Deeley.
