Why he might be annoying:

His career is best remembered for his mental health issues than for on-court accolades.
His first round draft selection to the Spurs raised a lot of eyebrows since his rap sheet did not fit the team's concept of character players.
He was traded to the Mavericks within minutes of his draft selection.
He attempted suicide by overdosing on Aspirin pills.
He was another high school prep star who didn't pan out at the NBA level.

He was placed in foster care as a result of neglect from his parents.
He posted impressive numbers while playing for Martin Luther King High School in Chicago.
Despite his acrimonious departure from the NBA, he continued his basketball career overseas.
