Why he might be annoying:

He cried after winning the Indy 500.
The same race he earned his final win was the same race where Kenny Brack was seriously injured.
Before he signed with Roger Penske, he had trouble winning races.
Despite being born in France, he has Brazilian parents.
He had several chances to race in Formula 1, but they either fell through or he turned them down.

Why he might not be annoying:

His accomplishments were overshadowed by his teammate Helio Castroneves.
He chose to retire after winning his last race.
He won his last Indy 500.
He got his first ride from Jackie Stewart.
He was known as one of the most well-mannered drivers in the IRL.
