Has been in over 30 bands, most notably: Guns n' Roses (1985-1997) and Velvet Revolver (2002- )

He has tattoos
He's been divorced twice.
He abused drugs and alcohol.
His drinking and drug use had gotten wildly out of control, that his pancreas was in such terrible shape that he had to immediately give up drinking or face almost-certain death.

He, Slash, and Matt Sorum from GNR, teamed up with Scott Weiland to form the band Velvet Revolver.
He cleaned up his life after a near-death experience.
He can play drums, guitar, and bass.
