Terrorist
    (1935- )
    Birth name is Viera Scheibnerova
    Anti-immunization activist
    Received a doctorate in micropaleontology
    Has no medical training.
    Australia's most famous anti-vaccination activist
Received a bent spoon award from the Australian skeptic Institute for misleading the public with pseudo science (1997)
She believes all vaccines don't work - no exceptions.
Her arguments are manipulative and so chocked full of logic holes that they render the reader stupid.
She denies that any vaccine (including small pox, polio and other diseases now eradicated) has ever worked.
She selects evidence that supports her claims from research that actually supports the opposite.
She places children's lives in danger by encouraging parents to not vaccinate their children.
If everybody listened to her, potentially fatal diseases that most kids have never experienced like whooping cough, mumps, polio, measles and tetanus would make a comeback.
Her so-called proofs take quotes from scientists she distrusts out of context.
She claims to be a 'principal researcher' but her doctorate is not even related to medicine (it is in micropaleontology).
The origin of her activism is a paper she wrote about a baby under her care that died from sudden infant death disorder after it had received a DPT vaccine. This paper was rejected for publication by the medical journal editors.
Her conspiracy theories give impetus to a worldwide movement of wackos who are paranoid about medicine.
She is media savvy and takes attention away from people who have basis for their concerns about vaccines.
She claims to have read over 100,000 articles about vaccines and has not read anything that convinced her that vaccines work.
She is relentless even in a fury of criticism.
She criticizes scientists for being close-minded and biased.
She exemplifies the point made by pre-polio vaccine era, polio victim Franklin Roosevelt that 'We have nothing to fear but fear itself.'
She makes a point that vaccines are not 100% effective or risk-free.
