Oddity

The Resume

Former student from University of Northern Iowa
Appeared at a televised Mccain rally in Cedar Rapids dressed as Sarah Palin (October 26, 2008) and was seen on camera making odd facial expressions behind Senator Mccain
Viral video was covered on Rachel Maddow, Politico, and CNN

Why she might be annoying:

She admits to being 'a diva.'
When she attended an Obama rally with her parents, she was more excited over meeting Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore - who were campaigning for him in Iowa - than seeing the future President.
She was able to talk her way onto the platform from where Mccain would be standing at the rally - despite not being listed - by doing her hair up, wearing glasses, and telling security 'but I'm Sarah Palin!'
She could be seen dramatically mugging for the camera every time an oblivious Mccain would praise Palin, pretending to accept the applause that would follow.
She uploaded a cringey rap video to YouTube ('Sarah Palin Impersonator Speaks Out in Rap') dancing with a slew of fellow Palin impersonators after her identity was revealed.

Why she might not be annoying:

She plays the violin and saxophone.
She joked about her viral fame, saying: 'I always dreamed of being in movies. But I didn’t think it would be for infamy!'
For her effort, she got to shake Senator McCain’s hand (although she was denied a photo op by security).
As a broadcast news student she interned for Entertainment Tonight, Colbert Report, and Saturday Night Live.
She worked for two years at a local news affiliate in Cedar Rapids and earned an Upper Midwest Regional Emmy Award nomination in the category of Video Journalist.
She later got a gig with WOI-DT/Channel 5's We Are Iowa local news affiliate based out of Des Moines.
She was trolling Presidentials at campaign rallies behind their backs and going viral before it was cool.
