Football Player
    (February 22, 1969- )
    Born in Deerfield, Massachusetts
Drafted 157th overall by the Green Bay Packers in the 1992 NFL Draft
Tight end for the Green Bay Packers (1993-99)
His surname is missing another vowel.
His career ended prematurely, after taking a career-ending hit to the back in a game (1999).
He re-aggravated the injury while working out in the team's weight room.
After the Packers won Super Bowl XXXI, he skipped out on the traditional meeting with the President.
Some felt his gesture was a result of him being a staunch Republican, while the President at the time, Bill Clinton, was a Democrat.
He was charged and eventually acquitted of sexual assault, after he had sex with his children's babysitter at a high school prom party (2000).
He set the Boston College team record for most passes caught by a receiver.
He made the NFC Pro Bowl roster three times during his career (1995, 1997, 1998).
He is best remembered for scoring the final points to clinch the Packers' victory in Super Bowl XXXI.
He stated his decision not to attend the traditional White House meeting was a result of the event falling on the same day as the Mike Utley charity tournament, which he is an avid supporter of.
He showed genuine remorse over his actions, and honesty about his conduct led to the jury's decision to acquit him of sexual assault.
