Baseball Player
    (May 28, 1982- )
Shortstop for the Cleveland Indians (2005-2010) and Detroit Tigers
    His first name is misspelled.
The unusual spelling of his first name is because of a clerical error on his birth certificate.
He’s refused to have it changed.
He had a weird looking beard that looks connected with his sideburns.
He played for a team that’s considering offensive to Native Americans.
He was one of 13 players suspended for taking Performance Enhancing Drugs tied to the Biogenesis clinic (August 5, 2013).
Though getting off on a slow start, he has pulled together defensively and offensively for his team.
He was a fan favorite in Cleveland.
He, along with C.C. Sabathia, Coco Crisp, and Grady Sizemore were part of the rebuilding of the Cleveland Indians franchise.
He broke the Indians record for home runs by a shortstop with 24 homers (September 29, 2005).
He said the best advice he got was ‘play baseball,’ from his father.
