Why he might be annoying:

He was the only American member of the Python troupe but would later take British citizenship.
His screen time on Python was limited.
During the filming of 'Brazil,' he became so stressed that he temporarily lost the use of his legs.
He said of his films, 'I like things to be tasteless.'
He said: 'One Of Hollywood's Greatest Visionaries'?!? I'm Not Even A Hollywood Director!!!' (can't he take a compliment?)

Why he might not be annoying:

His work on Python was not as appreciated as it should be, mainly because he did most of his work behind the scenes.
His bizarre animation sequences for Python, using cutout pictures and photographs, have been frequently imitated.
He believes that there is a social message behind each of his films.
He is a talented director and has been called 'visionary.'
