    Chris Bostock (bass)
    Rob Marche (guitar)
    Dave Collard (keyboards)
    Seam McLusky (drums)
‘Dig’ Wayne (born Timothy Wayne Ball, vocals)

Albums include ‘Like Gangbusters (re-released 2012)’ and ‘Skin and Bone’

Why they might be annoying:

Their getup – inspired by the Bowery Boys and not much money – could have given Madness or the Rubettes a run for their money.
Before meeting Wayne, they were the backing band for a nu-cabaret vocalist… who hated touring!
Since their first single ‘Boxerbeat,’ almost every subsequent single placed lower as they went.
They attributed their eventual demise to going ‘against their own instincts’ (leaving it ‘up to the label’ to decide which singles would be released for ‘Like Gangbusters’).

Why they might not be annoying:

They met while running separate stands in the street market.
Their structure was similar to Foreigner in that everyone else was British and their vocalist was American (Cambridge, Ohio, in Wayne’s case).
All of them were involved in the writing of their material.
‘Just Got Lucky’ made it into the ‘40-Year-Old Virgin’ soundtrack.
Following their breakup, they were active in other groups – with variable success – and presentations.
