The Resume

Why Sci Fi Channel might be annoying:

It produces some of the worst made-for-TV horror movies you'll ever see.
Some consider its programming needlessly gory and violent.
It initiates few quality programs of its own, and mainly picks up shows after they're canceled by other networks.
It shows episodes of old TV shows out of order.
It angers fans by cutting classic programs to allow for more commercials.
It founded an organization supposedly to prove that UFOs exist, but it turned out to be a publicity stunt.
It canceled the cult comedy favorite ‘Mystery Science Theater 3000.'
It gave a TV home to quack psychic John Edward (at least they called it science fiction).

Why Sci Fi Channel might not be annoying:

It is known for its creative and bizarre station-ID spots.
Its remake of ‘Battlestar Galactica' became a critical favorite.
It shows marathons of ‘The Twilight Zone' and other classic shows on holiday weekends.
It is a reliable source for images of blood and monsters.
