Why he might be annoying:

He is the first U.S. president to be impeached (1868).
He wanted to continue Lincoln's decision to reunite the South with the North quickly.
The Senate opposed this and came within one vote of removing Johnson from office.
He married his sixteen year old girlfriend Eliza when he was eighteen.

Why he might not be annoying:

When he died, he was wrapped in an American Flag with a copy of the U.S. Constitution under his head.
.He was a decent man who would help out a guy in need.
Since his family was too poor to attend school, he learned the trade of tailoring and when he married, his wife taught him to read and write.
Nebraska became the 37th state during his administration.
Slavery was abolished by a Constitutional amendment during his presidency.
