    As of 2010, she has been off the screen for over two decades, making her last appearance as a guest in Murder, She Wrote (1987).
    She was working at Screen Gems as a secretary for Robert Altman when John Cassavetes, also working at Screen Gems, asked her to read lines for a script he was developing.
    Cassavetes liked her readings enough to cast her in the film, 'Faces.'
    She was nominated for an Oscar as best supporting actress for 'Faces,' which was her debut film.
