    (October 27, 1914-November 9, 1953)
One of the great English language poets of the twentieth century
Wrote 'Eighteen Poems,' 'Twenty-five poems,' 'The Map of Love,' 'The world I breathe' and 'Portrait of the Artist as a Young Dog'
He is considered a 'classic Welsh writer,' though he never actually learned the Welsh language.
He was a very serious writer sometimes spending several days on a single line.
He drank a lot of alcohol.
    He smoked.
    He suffered from depression.
Some of the titles of his books on poetry had very unpoetic names such as 'Eighteen Poems' and 'Twenty-five poems.'
He had an incredibly beautiful voice.
His poem 'Do not go gentle into that good night' was recited by Rodney Dangerfield in 'Back To School (1986).'
