The Resume

    (November 13, 1956- )
    Born in Elmira, New York
Republican Governor of Massachusetts (elected November 2014)

Why he might be annoying:

He lost his first gubernatorial election to Deval Patrick.
Some have described him as having a 'dull' personality.
He's the frequent target of criticism from right-wing Republicans.
Perhaps as a result, some have pointed out he tends to 'lack' voter enthusiasm other politicians enjoy.
Though he worked in the health care industry, he couldn't please liberals when it came to managing health care as Governor.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He graduated Harvard.
He earned his MBA from Northwestern University.
He ranked as the most popular US Governor for several consecutive months, and at one time had an 80% approval rating in Massachusetts.
He's a social liberal, economic conservative.
He's a rare Republican who will publicly criticize Donald Trump.
