Why she might be annoying:

Author Anita Loos described Constance and her sisters as “class trash.”
Her successful film career was due in large part to her domineering mother Peg Talmadge.
She was an alcoholic recluse in her later years.
She didn't even try to make the transition to talkies and discouraged Norma from doing so.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was modest about her acting abilities, despite being widely praised as a fine comic actress.
Her role as “The Mountain Girl” in ‘Intolerance' is still highly regarded by film buffs.
She was the only Talmadge who got along with her brother-in-law Buster Keaton.
Her father walked out on his family on Christmas Day.
Her mother allegedly try to abort her and her sisters by riding the Bump-the-Bumps at Coney Island.
