Why he might be annoying:

    His career ended prematurely due to arm injuries.
    He missed out on an opportunity to be a part of the Braves team that made it to the World Series (1992).
    Some baseball pundits felt the Braves intentionally left him on the farm team, in order to leave him unprotected in the expansion draft.
    He struggled with pitching in Colorado's high altitude.
    He quit baseball altogether, after he failed to catch on with the Reds.

    He was the first player selected by the Rockies.
    He pitched the first Opening Day game in the history of the Rockies franchise (1993).
    He was named to the 20th anniversary team for the Richmond Braves franchise.
