Why he might be annoying:

As a teen, he played Mr. Whipple's stockboy in a series of Charmin commercials.
He often annoys co-host Jamie Hyneman with his antics during stunts.
He said, 'Except for the fact that we're on television, it's very much like having a 14-year-old pyromaniac in the neighborhood.'
He owns 17 lightsabers.

Why he might not be annoying:

His father worked as an animator on Sesame Street and he provided voices for some of the characters as a child.
He provides comic relief to Hyneman's straight man persona.
He taught advanced model making at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
He said of Mythbusters' success, 'We don't pander to kids and we never set out to make a show that is educational. If we had, we would have failed.'
