    Appeared in the films ‘Mr. North’ (1988), ‘The Russia House’ (1990), ‘The Doors’(1991), ‘Blankman’ (1994), ‘Kiss Me, Guido’ (1997), ‘Thirteen Days’ (2000), ‘Terminator 3: The Rise of the Machines’ (2003) and ‘The World’s Fastest Indian’ (2005)
    Had recurring roles as Charlie Brent on All My Children (1992-95) and Senator Jordan on General Hospital (2003)
    Wrote ‘Symptoms of Withdrawal: A Memoir of Snapshots and Redemption’ (2005)

    He called himself a ‘B-list Kennedy.’
    He dropped out of Fordham law school because of his addiction to heroin.
    To get money for drugs, he begged in Grand Central Station and mugged a woman.
    He was arrested in Aspen, Colorado, for impersonating a doctor to get prescription medication (1980).

    After the assassination of John F. Kennedy, he served as a surrogate big brother to John Kennedy, Jr.
    He sought professional help for his drug addiction after the overdose death of his cousin and close friend David Kennedy.
    His cousin Patrick Kennedy said, ‘He was the one who walked me through all the difficult days’ of his recovery from addiction.
