Pimp
    (October 14, 1946-October 16, 2018)
    Born in Phoenix, Arizona
Owned seven legal brothels in Nevada, most prominently the Moonlite BunnyRanch
Starred in the HBO reality series ‘Cathouse’ (2005-07) and related specials
Wrote ‘The Art of the Pimp’ (2015)
Was running for a seat in the Nevada state legislature at the time of his death
As a publicity sunt, he offered O.J. Simpson a job as a greeter at the BunnyRanch after he got out of jail.
His past greeters included John Wayne Bobbitt and Scott Thorson.
He owned the Love Ranch, where Lamar Odom OD’ed on cocaine.
    He dated Heidi Fleiss.
He said every relationship he was in ended because of his infidelity.
Several of the women who worked for him complained about abusive behavior and being coerced into having sex with him.
His memoir included a profile by a psychiatrist who found him to be a narcissist with no sense of empathy.
He claimed to communicate daily with Tucker Carlson to give him ideas for his show.
In his campaign, he styled himself ‘the Trump from Pahrump.’
His dead body was discovered by Ron Jeremy.
His brothels offered freebies to soldiers returning from active duty.
He promoted a ‘get my grandpa laid’ contest on The Howard Stern Show. (The winner died at a Lake Tahoe steakhouse before claiming the big prize.)
He devised his publicity stunts because the Nevada law legalizing brothels barred them from advertising their services.
He called himself ‘The P.T. Barnum of the sex industry.’
His motto: ‘There’s no business like ho business.’
He lectured at Oxford and the Sorbonne.
He $2 million mansion outside Reno burned down when the state of Nevada started a ‘controlled burn’ that went out of control (2016).
He died after a party at the Love Ranch for his 72nd birthday. (And we’re guessing he went out with a smile on his face.)
