His piano playing was praised by Vladimir Horowitz and Ray Charles.
He wrote a software program and was a consultant to Tandy/Radio Shack for two decades.
After a 2008 concert, a reviewer wrote, 'Nero plays with the energy of a 20-year-old rock and roll drummer.'
