    He earned a career high 91 penalty minutes (1960-61).
    He had his name engraved on the Stanley Cup eleven times.
    He was viewed as being the playmaking forward and setup man to Maurice.
    He spent his entire career with his hometown Canadiens.
    He served as the team's captain in the later stages of his career.
    His jersey #16 was immediately retired months after he announced his retirement.
