The Resume

    (January 31, 1952-March 6, 1969)
    Born in Ulan Bator, Mongolia
Full name is Nadezhda Nikolayevna Rusheva
Moved with her parents to Moscow at age one
Known for her line drawings, particularly her illustrations for Mikhail Bulgakov's 'The Master and Margarita'
Died suddenly at 17 of a cerebral hemorrhage

Why she might be annoying:

Her father was a Soviet artist
She was a precocious child who drew 36 pictures of her favorite story as her father read it aloud.
Her fame is probably based as much on her untimely death as her artwork.
Skeptics have described her as a gifted amateur who died before reaching her full potential.
She is mainly famous in Russia (particularly with emo teens).

Why she might not be annoying:

She had her first exhibit at 12.
She drew quickly and seldom needed to erase anything.
    Her work resembles Jean Cocteau's.
She preferred to illustrate the classics, particularly Greek myths.
Some alleged she was exploited by the Khrushchev government to prove the USSR was progressive.
She said, 'I live the life of those I draw.'
