    Her sister thought Crystal's name (Brenda) should be classier for fame, so they changed it after seeing a 'Krystals' fast food sign.
    She used and changed the spelling of her middle name as her last name for an even catchier sound.
    A lot of her song/album titles are very long.
    She has two children, Catherine Clare and Christos James.
    Actresses Patsy and Peggy Lynn are her twin nieces.
    She is related to Patty Loveless.
    She is famed for her beautiful, long, floor length hair.
    She and Eddie Rabbit did a world famous love song 'You And I,' which is still one of the most requested love songs for weddings.
    She's been married to the same man since 1970.
    She was the first country singer to tour China, have her own TV show and reach platinum sales.
    She was voted one of 'People's 50 Most Beautiful People in the World (1983).'
    She won several Top Female Vocalist Awards.
    Although born and raised dirt poor, she did something with her life to change all of that.
    She supports the Make-A-Wish-Foundation and Arthritis Telethon.
