    Instant replay of a catch he made in which the ball ricocheted off his foot, bounced off a defender, and came back to him for the catch, during a Week 7 game against the Giants, went viral on social media (October 22, 2017).
    He defended his protesting the anthem, saying: 'I just feel like the league, it's majority African-American, and you would think more people would come to have one of our guy [Kaepernick's] back … We talk about the NFL being a brotherhood [and] they give us this presentation every year about the NFL being a brotherhood, and [if] something wrong is going on to one of your brothers, I feel like we should be there to have his back and speak up for him.'
