He turned down a chance to play baseball at the University of Washington to be drafted with the Montreal Expos.
Although he says he's very shy around girls, there are pictures of him at clubs grinding with up to 4-5 women surrounding him.
He was part of a controversial trade that sent him to the Indians and Bartolo Colon to the Expos.

He is only the fifth player in Major League history to have recorded 20 doubles, 10 triples, 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases in the same season.
