The Resume

    (2007- )
    Born in United Kingdom
Promotes Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate bars
Most famous for a commercial in which he drums passionately to Phil Collins' 'In The Air Tonight'
    Played by actor Garan Michael

Why he might be annoying:

He broke several drumsticks during filming.
His gorilla suit took three months to make and is composed of yak hair.
The actor playing him had to be cooled with ice water tubing and a fan.
He had a gold tooth to make him look more like a world weary rocker.
Some naive viewers thought he was an actual gorilla or Phil Collins in a gorilla costume.
His Canadian debut involved contests to win a gorilla suit and a lifetime supply of bananas.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He has soulful eyes.
He helped Cadbury bounce back from bad publicity after a salmonella outbreak.
Phil Collins said of him, 'Not only is he a better drummer than me, he also has more hair.'
He revived interest in ‘In the Air Tonight,’ which reached #14 on the UK singles chart (September 2007).
His popularity is in large part due to online downloads and word of mouth.
He is the most famous primate in advertising since the Samsonite gorilla of the 1970s.
