    (October 20, 1960- )
Born in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Real name is Fahreta Jahić Živojinović
    Born an ethnic Bosniak
Raised in Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina
    Member of Slatki Greh (1981-1991)
Recorded the albums ‘Čačak, Čačak’ (1981), ‘Bato, Bato’ (1984), ‘Hajde da se volimo’ (1987), ‘Četiri godine’ (1989), ‘Zaljubiška’ (1991), ‘Uđi slobodno…’ (2008), and ‘Začarani krug’ (2011)
Stayed in Pompano Beach, Florida during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia
She dressed gaudily for someone in her fifties.
Slatki Greh means ‘sweet sin’ in the Serbo-Croat language.
Her song ‘Živela Jugoslavija’ received mixed receptions due to its explicit political references coming from her support of the former Yugoslav regime.
She often held two concerts a day during the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, when Yugoslavia was breaking up. (How risky is that?)
Her relationship with her husband, a tennis player, was the subject of yellow media.
She is the most successful and well-known singer from former Yugoslavia.
She and Slatki Greh were the first ex-Yugoslav musicians to incorporate elements from modern pop music and Yugoslav folk music together.
She refuses to be viewed as an ethnic Bosniak, but as a Yugoslav, which is something very brave considering the volatile ethnic makeup of the Balkans.
She performed at the 1984 Winter Olympics at Sarajevo.
Her son Stefan was kidnapped by the Serbian mafia, but she and her husband managed to get him released by paying a ransom of 2,500,000 deutsche mark (November 2000).
She still lives with her husband despite rumors of arguments and even a divorce.
