The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Why Amendment IV - Man's Home is His Castle might be annoying:

It allows some criminals to walk because the evidence was not obtained legally.
It protects subversive organizations.
Under the guise of national security, this amendment is broken routinely.
The Supreme Court routinely weakens this amendment with judicial exceptions.
It originally allowed citizens to resist arrest and even holding law officers financially responsible for wrong arrests.

Why Amendment IV - Man's Home is His Castle might not be annoying:

Many of the drafters of the Bill of Rights felt this freedom the most necessary liberty.
If implied correctly it begs for a censor free country and opposes banning of books.
It protects citizens from a tyrannical government.
It stops law enforcement from arbitrarily busting down your door.
The government may not spy on you, indiscriminately.
Law enforcement must get a search warrant if they wish to go through your stuff.
