The Resume

    (April 14, 1926-August 31, 2018)
    Born in Buffalo, New York
Birth name was Gloria Jean Schoonover
    Actress and singer
Appeared in the films ‘The Under Pup’ (1939), ‘If I Had My Way’ (1940), ‘Never Give a Sucker an Even Break’ (1941), ‘When Johnny Comes Marching Home’ (1942), ‘Moonlight in Vermont’ (1943), ‘Ghost Catchers’ (1944), ‘Pardon My Rhythm’ (1944), ‘Copacabana’ (1947), ‘Air Strike’ (1955) and ‘The Ladies’ Man’ (1961)

Why she might be annoying:

Universal Pictures shaved two years off her age to make her look like even more of a prodigy.
On her agent’s advice, she decided not to renew her contract with Universal (1944) and her Hollywood career never recovered.
She was supposed to make a comeback in Jerry Lewis’ ‘The Ladies’ Man,’ but almost all of her performance ended up on the cutting room floor, leaving her an extra with no dialogue in the film.

Why she might not be annoying:

She had her own radio show when she was five.
W.C. Fields personally chose her to portray his niece in ‘Never Give a Sucker an Even Break.’
After leaving show biz, she launched a second career at the Redken cosmetics firm.
