    Born in Fenton, Michigan
    Head coach of the Buffalo Sabres (February-November 2013)
    Formerly coached the Lake Superior State University Lakers (1994-95), Clarkson Knights (1996-1999), Harvard Crimson (1999-2002), Boston College Eagles (2002-2004), United States National Team Development Program (2004-2011) and the Rochester Americans (2011-2013)

Why he might be annoying:

    Unlike his brother, he never played hockey at the professional level.
    He was considered a nomad in the college coaching ranks.
    Some hockey pundits initially questioned the Sabres decision to hire him, as he had little experience coaching professional players.
    He often looks stoic and aloof in interviews.
    He was fined $10,000 after he sent out his scrappers to take part in a line brawl during a pre-season game (September 22, 2013).
    He was fired by the Sabres five months after receiving the head coaching position on a permanent basis after a 4-14-1 start (November 13, 2013).

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was a member of two NCAA champion teams at Lake Superior State University (1992, 1994).
    He was considered one of the most succesful and decorated coaches for the United States National Team Development Program as his teams frequently would reach the medal rounds in the tournaments they played in.
    He replaced Lindy Ruff at the Sabres head coach, after the latter was dismissed after 16 seasons.
    He earned the Sabres head coaching position on a permanent basis after recording a 15-11-5 record as the interim head coach.
    He worked at his family's furniture store in his hometown of Flint, Michigan during the hockey off-seasons.
