Named after the multi-limbed Hindu goddess of wealth
Born with four arms and four legs known as ischiopagus which left her conjoined with an undeveloped, headless, parasitic twin
27 hour surgery (scheduled to last 40 hours) performed to remove her extra limbs (November 6-7, 2007)

Why she might be annoying:

She couldn't walk or crawl.
Some Hindus in surrounding villages believed she was a reincarnated god.
A circus tried to purchase her for their sideshow, forcing the family into hiding.

Why she might not be annoying:

The family lives in poverty and the $625,000 operation, performed by a team of 30 surgeons, was paid by a Bangalore hospital foundation.
Besides the extra limbs she had to have an extra stomach, spine and pair of kidneys removed.
It was estimated that without the surgery she wouldn't have lived into her teens.
There was a 25% chance of her dying during the surgery, but she survived.
She is an outgoing girl with a warm smile and has happily played with hospital staff members.
