Why he might be annoying:

His claim to fame was mostly because he was Kirk Douglas’ son and Michael Douglas’ brother.
He created a disturbance on an airline flight when he let his dog loose in the cabin. He then threw blankets at the flight attendants.
He was arrest after signing for a delivery of a large drug stash from an undercover officer disguised as a mail carrier.
In addition to his drug addiction, he drank heavily.
He was unsuccessful in his attempt as a stand-up comedian.
He was charged with harassing a 12-year old girl at a substance abuse hospital in Connecticut.

Why he might not be annoying:

He appeared in ‘Gunfight’ with his father.
He openly admitted it was hard living up to his father’s and brother’s accomplishments.
He pursued legal action against a doctor who prescribed him 1000 pills in the course of three months (1999).
He was discovered dead by a maid who was cleaning his Manhattan apartment.
He was buried in Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in California.
