    He complained to the media about the contract offer he originally received from the Phillies.
    Despite the initial reports on his medical history, he remained a first round pick.
    He was a dominating pitching prospect, recording a record of 14-4 in the minor leagues.
    He made an immediate impact in the Phillies pitching rotation following his call-up from the minor leagues.
    He went undefeated in his starts during the Phillies pennant run (2008).
    He was the first player in 11 years to win both the LCS and World Series MVP's in the same season.
